Clover 502 Seam Ripper Review

I already had one of these seam rippers and loved it. Reason I like this item so much is the point/cutting area is small and fits into stitches with ease. The cutting/blade 'V' shaped area is very sharp to aid in a smooth quick cut of the stitches. The handle is larger, rounded, easier and much more comfortable to hold in the hand when using than most seam rippers. I ordered several more so I'd have extras and to give to my daughter and sewing friends as a little gift.

Extremely cheap product. Seam ripper is so substandard it cannot cut through thread. I do NOT recommend this product.

Dritz Deluxe Seam Ripper Review

I use mine to remove all sorts of annoying loops and velcro sorts of attachments that I do not need from gloves and bags and other gear. Works good on tags and advertising logos on clothing and other fabric products as well as just ripping them seams to cleanly remove a jacket/shirt lining or a sleeve or something of that nature.
Let me put it this way: If I buy a shirt and it has your logo on it, even a little tag on the corner of the pocket and you do not pay me to advertise your product, the logo comes off. And this is the little tool I use to do that.

Long lasting heavy duty blade. Safety ball protects fabric. Use seam ripper to cut and remove unwanted stitches(A). Lift threads with point and cut with blade. Point can also be used to remove threads(B). To open buttonhole, insert point between stitches. Slide blade to cut fabric. Insert pin at end of buttonhole to prevent cutting through end stitches(C).
