50 Large Spools Polyester Embroidery Machine Thread Review

(More customer reviews)Awesome colors and a wide variety. Little dissapointed that there was only 4 blues out of all of the colors. If you have a brother sd200 the disney sewing machine the spools will not fit in the cartridge unless you modify the spools. The base is too large and will not fit unless you cut the plastic ring off the bottom. Not a huge issue for me but it takes a lot of time and energy to modify it. Other then that I am very happy with the quality of the thread and the colors.

They do not tangle coming off the spool while in use. After I'm done using the spool I'll put a very small piece of tape to hold the running end of the thread.

We do hemming and alterations for a local boutique, along with the embroidery, and the color palette will greatly improve the chances of matching some of the "unique" colors that are currently in fashion. Thanks for providing a great product for an extremely affordable price.

(More customer reviews)I chose this package because it contained quite a few lighter colors compared to some of the other sets. The spools have 1100 yards which is double that of many of the sets. The spools measure 1 3/4" across the bottom and 2 1/4" tall. The bottom of the spool has a groove that you can wrap the end of the thread in to prevent unraveling.
The tread has not broken and is shiny and smooth. The color selection is enough to embroider most any design. I am very happy with this product. If I had bought these spools individually at a local store I would have paid over $500 for them.

(More customer reviews)As I am new to machine embroidery, this set was perfect. The numbers perfectly match the Brother color numbers which makes following patterns much easier. The thread is just as good as the Pacesetter thread that I had previously purchased and so far, I have had no breakages. There are two reasons why I have given this a 4 star rating. The first is the rack it came with is a total piece of junk. It came fully assembled but was put together wrong. The balsa-type wood is stapled together and if one row is "off" then 2 rows are unusable. I ended up using a plastic container to hold all the threads. The second reason is that the number stickers were falling off. As I wanted to keep the numbers on the thread, I used a sharpie marker to put the numbers on the plastic of each spool. All in all, I would purchase it again as the cost is SOOO much less than the local shop.

120 Spool Wood Thread Rack - By Threadart Review

(More customer reviews)Although cheaply made, this rack does serve the intended purpose. I holds the 1000yd spools with no problem. Yet, if you use the 5k spools, you'll lose capacity by more than half. It is made for the 1k spools. Several of the rods were loose, but glue took care of that, not a big deal. It's designed to sit on a counter or shelf, but, it would have to be a wide one. It states in the description it can be hung on the wall, but, you'll have to rig it yourself. There are no instructions or hardware for wall hanging this item. There are other racks for thread on amazon, this was the cheapest overall when I oredered it. The others appear the same, just higher priced and higher shipping. So far so good on this item. I gave it 4 stars because it is a good deal, and does what I want it too. I could make one, but I don't have the time. I will be buying a few more,,,, This race is for the thread spools for a commercial embroidery machine.

(More customer reviews)The thread ad was a little deceptive. They advertised as thread for Brother machines, which it isn't exactly. They never would give me a definite yes or no on the thread being made for Brother by Brother. I specifically asked them that and they said they had not had any negative responses from Brother owners. That wasn't what the ad stated. It stated thread for Brother machines. The best I could find out was, that it was made in India, but they wouldn't specifically say it was made by Brother for Brother machines. When I received it, at first I was a little disappointed, then I e-mailed them and they told me to give a few spools a try and if I wasn't completely satisfied with it, I could return it and they would refund my money. I thought that was reasonable and gave it a try and it stitched out beautifully. So I thanked them and kept the thread. The only problem was breakage, it seems a little weak, but using a large eyed embroidery needle took care of that.They told me to adjust my tensions on my machine, but I didn't need to touch the tensions by using the larger eyed embroidery needle. Overall, it's basically good thread, beautiful colors and shine to it.
